Manik Suri, Founder and CEO
Manik Suri is the Founder and CEO of technology company Therma. Before founding Therma, Manik co-founded the Governance Lab (GovLab), an innovation center at NYU that developed technology solutions to improve government. He is a former Affiliate of Harvard’s Berkman Center for Internet & Society and has held positions at global investment firm D.E. Shaw & Company and the White House National Economic Council.
Manik holds an A.B. in Government summa cum laude from Harvard College, an M.Phil in International Relations (Highest Honors) from Cambridge University, where he studied as Harvard University’s annual Paul Williams Scholar, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he earned numerous Dean’s Scholar commendations. He is admitted to the California Bar, has published in leading academic journals, edited volumes, and national media outlets.

Aaron Cohen, President
Aaron Cohen is the co-founder and President of Therma. He believes the food service industries will help lead the sustainability movement because it's the right thing to do and it makes exceptional business sense.

Chander Chawla, CPO
I am a technology executive who brings a unique perspective to creating new technology-based products. I have lived and worked in six countries in multiple sectors and roles within the hi-tech industry. Highlights include inspiring teams to solve user problems by building 25+ new products based on disruptive technologies like WiFi, wearables, cryptocurrencies, and Artificial Intelligence; running a $600M business to add $150M in new earnings; and leading large global teams of 80+ people.

I have 10+ years of software sales and management experience across a multitude of sales functions and industries. I LOVE my work at Therma growing our customer base, team, and product offerings. The work we do every day to change the world and save the planet has been the privilege of a lifetime and and I am forever grateful to be a part of this team!

Lucas Tepman, VP of Strategy
Lucas is a social entrepreneur and an impact investor with operational experience in Latin America and the U.S. He was selected as a Fulbright Scholar in 2018 to complete his master's degree at UC Berkeley where he focused on the intersection of entrepreneurship, sustainability, and finance. Lucas brings experience working for management and public affairs consulting, NGOs, government, and impact investing. At Therma, Lucas is responsible for driving business strategy, product, and investor relations.

I am an operations leader with experience building ground-up teams and distilling cross-org processes in the supply chain space. In my previous roles, I've worked with brands like Deposco, Chick-fil-a, and Panera. At Therma, I'm focused on finance, HR, and sales operations and continuing to pursue our mission of reducing emissions through the cold chain.
I have 10+ years of software sales and management experience across a multitude of sales functions and industries. I LOVE my work at Therma growing our customer base, team, and product offerings.
